Re-scheduled Annual Parish Meeting & Annual Parish Council Meetings, 6pm Thursday 6th May – over Zoom
Both these meetings are over Zoom – contact the Yaxham Parish Clerk for a Zoom link – all residents welcome.
The Annual Parish Meeting (APM) starts at 6pm. This meeting is not a Parish Council meeting. It is a meeting open to all parishioners to attend, speak and vote. It is Chaired by the Parish Council Chairman and Clerked by the Parish Clerk, and parish councilors can be present as residents. The Parish Council and Parish Charity will present reports including their respective financial statements. This is then followed by reports from other Yaxham organisations, and District and County Cllrs. Residents can ask questions of these reports or raise any issues that are relevant to the parish. Last year’s was cancelled and this one will be over Zoom – so it will have a very different feel to it than previous annual parish meetings.
The agenda can be found here. The minutes of the 2019 Annual Parish meeting can be seen here.
The Annual Parish Council meeting will begin at 6.30pm or immediately after the APM if that finishes after 6.30pm. This is a meeting of the parish council, and is the first one of the new parish council year. The first order of business is the election by the councilors of the councilors to be Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the next 12 months.
The agenda will be published shortly.
