Congratulations to this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning will be the third organised by the amazing “Yaxham Macmillan Coffee Pots” – supported by the Parish Charity – over £2,150 raised!

————————————————————-

Out of last year’s Macmillan the extremely successful “Second Thursday Community Cafe” idea evolved, since the first one in December 2018 we have raised £1,01.40 to help YVAA with the refurbishment programme. The next one will be held on Thursday 14th October and will be a collection point for “Helping Handbags”. “Helping Handbags Worldwide” is an initiative aimed at giving women in crisis a helping hand. The group fills an unwanted handbag (can be new or used) with sanitary and hygiene products along with other goodies to be then passed to a homeless woman at a time of need and over Christmas. There will be a collection point at the Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 26th September, plus any left over bags and toiletries from the morning will be donated to them.
