Yaxham Parish Charity Grants £17,000 to the Play Area refurbishment project
At the Parish Charity Meeting on 29th April 2021 the Parish Charity made a grant of £17,000 for the Play Area refurbishment project. This will be the base to get the project underway with the aim of having the play area re-opened safely for in and around the start of the summer holidays. The next step is applying to Breckland Council’s Inspiring Communities fund for £5,000 match-funding. This first phase of the project is projected to cost £22,000. The Parish Charity’s contribution is made up of £5,000 from its income from investments plus the windfall grant of £12,000 by the Yaxham Social Club, as it wound up its accounts.
