At its first “virtual” meeting over Zoom, Yaxham Parish Council considering Yaxham Charity business on 8th April 2020 agreed to do a two thirds grant to the YVAA to enable redecoration of the Village Hall to get underway during the lockdown. The full cost is some £8.700 and the Charity will provide £5,275. This means the all the paint and other materials and contractors can be booked/purchased now. YVAA will find the balance from its reserves and anticipated Central Government Grant to Village Halls to help with running costs whilst they are closed.
