Hello,
We understand that in these uncertain times group meet-ups are not easy and, in many cases, still not possible. At Anglian Water we’re keen to continue talking to the communities we serve, listening to our customers, feeding your views into our business planning, and opening up two-way conversations.
We have a team of Community Ambassadors across our region who have volunteered to share the work we do, the challenges we face and the projects we’re working on. In our interactive talks we’re asking a series of questions across a variety of topics so you can record your thoughts and tell us your views.
For now, our talks will be held virtually via a zoom call and we hope to join you in person again for 2021 talks. Your feedback helps shape our future, so your opinion really does matter.
If you are interested in arranging a talk, please get in touch with me to talk in more detail.
Kind Regards
Hannah Kasozi

Dear Yaxham Womens Institute,
This year Breckland Council are taking part in the nationwide Heritage Open Day’s event. This is a fantastic opportunity for our heritage sites and local history groups and enthusiasts to showcase what Breckland has to offer. I am contacting you because I thought your members will have a wealth of knowledge about local history, local sites and also might know individuals or even themselves have interesting collections of artefacts that they might want to showcase to the public as part of their very own Heritage Open Day event! Or perhaps the Yaxham Womens Institute would like to put on an event. Information about the event can be found below:
To see what last year’s HOD events had to offer take a look at the 2014 Brochure here: http://www.heritagecity.org…
To take part in a Heritage Open Day event this year, from the 10-13 September, it is simple. All you need to do is:
1. Be open for free on one or all of these days
2. Put on something a bit special, something that people might not normally be able to do when they visit you
3. Finally, you need to provide information to people so they can learn about your event – this could be via a stand, a talk, a guided walk or something completely different, what you do and how you do it is up to you.
If you would like to take part by putting on an event this year, please get in touch. Events really can be very varied, and so the best thing to do is to contact me to find out whether your idea could be part of Brecklands first Heritage Open Day.
This is a really exciting opportunity for Breckland and we look forward to celebrating our wonderful heritage.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Beth
