Neighbourhood Plan

The Yaxham Neighbourhood Plan has now reached its final phase after going through all the public consultations and planning inspectorate tests and scrutiny. Breckland District Council has now sent out voting cards for the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum to be held on Thursday 19th March 2026. This has recently been publicised by the Parish Council through a newsletter that was delivered over the weekend Sat 28th Feb – Mon 2nd March 2026. The Neighbourhood Plan Working Group encourage parishioners of Yaxham Parish to vote in the referendum. Below is a brief description of the documents we have available to view:

  1. Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA): describing how environmental considerations are integrated into the neighbourhood plan,
  2. Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA): ensuring the protection of European Designated Sites within the parish during the development of the neighbourhood plan.
  3. NP4Yaxham 2024 Review Changes: proposed changes and updates to the neighbourhood plan.
