Yaxham Parish Council commissioned an engraved teak bench in memory of past Chairman of the Parish Council, Ian Martin, who died last August after a hard fought battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
Councillors, District Councillors and members of the Parochial Church Council gathered to mark the siting of the bench on the gravel path leading to St Peter’s Church. Ian was hugely respected throughout the community as both a parish councillor and Breckland councillor and is sadly missed.
