Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting held Thursday 4th October 2018 7.30pm

This meeting was called to address the dangerous condition of the remaining Cypress trees at the front of the Village Hall and over-hanging the Norwich Road. Whilst this is formally the responsibility of the Yaxham Village Amenities Association (YVAA), which owns and runs the Village Hall and Recreation Field, the YVAA has asked the Parish Council cover the cost of this emergency work, in the interests of the safety of all residents of the parish and users of the Norwich Road. Considering the urgency of the work required the Extraordinary Parish Council meeting was called for Thursday, 4th October 2018, 7.30pm in the David Myhill Room at Yaxham Village Hall. The Parish Council decided to grant £1,500 to cover the costs of the lower quote so that this work could proceed. The YVAA’s offer to waive Parish Council room hire charges for five years was welcomed and agreed. See the Agenda and Draft Minutes below:
