The Parish Charity agreed at its last meeting on the 25th June 2020 to make available where appropriate a Covid-19 Re-start Small Grant of £250 to each not-for-profit organisations in Yaxham to help with the additional costs of sanitizers, PPE etc that may be incurred as part of re-starting as lockdown eases.

The grant application form is here: Yaxham Parish Charity Covid-19 Application Form 2020 07

The first completed application forms will be considered at the next Parish Charity meeting on 23rd July, and then any further applications at subsequent meetings, depending on what suits each organisation. Examples of possible applicant organisations include: the School, Yaxham Amenities Association, St Peter’s Church, The Chapel, Women’s Institute, Table Tennis Club, Community Car Scheme,  Woodland Group, Mid-Norfolk Railways.  Not to worry if you are not on this list – if you are involved in a not-for-profit organisation in Yaxham and are facing Covid-19 related costs when you you re-commence your activities or meetings then your organisation is eligible to apply.

The form is designed to be simple and easy to complete – examples of planned expenditure and expenditure already incurred would be good so as to reassure the Charity that the money will be put to good use for the primary purpose of contributing to the Covid-19 related re-start costs.

Completed forms to be emailed to the Parish Clerk – yaxhamparishclerk@gmail.com.
