We are praying for Heather and David Jack as her cancer affects the life of their family. Thank you Lord for giving them your peace and strength.We also give you thanks for the faith of Nancy (Sheila's friend in N. Ireland) as she continues to face cancer. We give thanks that Helen's next operation has gone well. Thank you Lord.We pray for the all Garner family , especially Vera and Keith as Ernie has gone to join his brothers and sisters in a better place.We pray for the family of Madge Meachen who has passed away. We pray for David and Jan as his tumour has grown and treatment has had to be changed and he has had another small stroke and for his radiotherapy treatment, and for Tony who has returned home after a spell in hospital with a chest infection. and give thanks Michael Tilney is home from hospital.We pray for Ellen after the loss of her brother JimmyWe are praying for Harriet Grant and her Mum Jane after their cancer operations.. We Give thanks scans show Barbara Greengrass is clear.We remember, Sheila, Sheila and Derek, Barbara, Peggy, Ruby, Glenn Fox and Linda and Ian Masson and for those who we know have recently lost loved ones. We pray for Chris Lambert paralysed after a riding accident and give thanks he is improving slowly. Pray he will be able to continue his recovery without the close support..

Please come and support this great cause, the doors will open at 9.30am, if you are on your way back from the school drop off, please pop in for a cuppa! All the familiar stalls will be there, plus a new toddlers area with face painting, games and items for sale. If you are feeling stressed, why not treat yourself to taster massage or reflexology treatment? Donations for stalls and offers to help all appreciated. The Club Room is located in the Village Hall and is open every Friday and Saturday night for Members. Are you keen on darts, you may be interested to join the Club's Darts Team. If you would like to join, come along and ask the Bar Person for an Application Form. The annual membership fee for the Club is £2.50, £1.50 for Senior Citizens and Junior members between 16-18 years, effective from 1st June.
Good Companions Club
The club meets in the Village Hall on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2pm till 4pm. We're a friendly club and offer a range of activities including Bingo, Raffles and Auctions. We would encourage you to come along and meet us and try it for free. We like to welcome new members and you'll be assured of a warm welcome.

Starts on Wednesday 4th June 6pm to 6.45pm and then weekly. The first class is free and then the charge will be £4.50 per week.
We have two regular Table Tennis sessions in the hall on Wednesday afternoon from 2-3pm and Thursday evening from 6.30 - 7.30pm. Price is only £1.50 per hour. We currently have two brand new tables and bats and balls are provided. We can increase the time for these sessions subject to availability and the number of participants wanting to play.
