News – Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting Thursday 9th July 7pm – Scarlett Homes Planning Application
Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting has been called for Thursday 9th July at 7pm – primarily to discuss the Scarlett Homes Planning Application to reduce the affordable housing element from 40% to 25%.
Under the Covid-19 Regulations this meeting is taking place over “Zoom” – please email the Clerk to be invited to join the meeting – yaxhamparishclerk@yaxham.com.
This applicant has just received planning permission for 25 homes on the “Lanpro Land” north of Norwich Road. Only a month after that permission they want the affordable element reduced from 40% to 25%. The Planning Inspector only allowed Outline Planning Permission in 2017 for two reasons. One was the 40% affordable homes. So, come to the meeting on thursday and express your views, and hear the Council discussion and decision.
AND write to Breckland with your views, Planning Reference 3OB/2020/0021/OB, via www.breckland.gov.uk, by email to chris.hobson@breckland.gov.uk, or by post to Chris Hobson, Breckland Council, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham NR19 1EE.
