This is the annual meeting of the Parish Council when it elects its Chairman and Vice-Chairman and decides other matters as set out in its Standing Orders.
The date has been brought forward to 6th May to enable the meeting to be held remotely over Zoom. This is because the Government has refused to extend the Covid-19 regulations enabling remote meeting over the internet beyond the 7th May. So, given the impossibility of holding Covid-safe meetings in the usual room at the Village Hall in May, when these are legally required to be held, we have taken the decision to hold this meeting over Zoom on 6th May – starting at 6.30pm.
