This meeting has been called to address the dangerous condition of the remaining Cyprus trees at the front of the Village Hall and over-hanging the Norwich Road. Whilst this is formally the responsibility of the Yaxham Village Amenities Association (YVAA), which owns and runs the Village Hall and Recreation Field, the YVAA has asked the Parish Council cover the up to £2,500 cost of this emergency work, in the interests of the safety of all residents of the parish and users of the Norwich Road. Considering the urgency of the work required this request could not be delayed until the Council’s usual meeting on 25th October – hence this Extraordinary Parish Council meeting has been called for this Thursday, 4th October 2018, 7.30pm in the David Myhill Room at Yaxham Village Hall – see the agenda below – All welcome.
