It is with sadness that we have to report that our Chairman, Ian Martin, has had to take a temporary leave of absence due to health and other personal issues. We thank Ian for all his hard work to date, wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to his return.

During this temporary period the Parish Council will be actively led and managed by: Richard Whadcoat as Vice-Chairman is acting Chairman, supported by Maggie Oechsle as Chairman NP4Yaxham, the other cllrs and the Clerk. Please can you therefore end emails in the meantime for the attention of Rebecca Wade, the Parish Clerk. Thank you.

Ian is likewise taking a leave of absence from his Breckland Council responsibilities as Councillor for Mattishal Ward which includes Yaxham.  Ian’s fellow Mattishall Ward Cllr Paul Claussen has kindly agreed to cover Breckland related matters during this period.
